Shadowing EtiquetteAttending a Pure Romance party as the guest of a consultant for the purpose of learning about the Pure Romance business, training to be a Pure Romance consultant and/or enhancing your current business.
Shadowing is appropriate and encouraged for ALL new and experienced consultants. It is recommended that all new consultants shadow another consultant at least 2 times prior to their initial show. Experienced consultants should shadow daughters occasionally to assess their potential needs and help them build their business. Experienced consultants are encouraged to shadow others (including their sponsor) regularly to learn new tips and techniques that can be used to keep their demo fresh and exciting. DO * Dress professionally - as if you were the consultant for the party. * Arrive on time. * help the consultant carry in her demo/stock and set up, IF requested to do so. * Watch, listen and learn! Make mental and physical notes concerning all aspects of the show and questions you want to ask the consultant AFTER the show. * During the demo and in the ordering room, position yourself so that you can watch the consultant closely without being disruptive. * Aid the consultant as she requests. * Always follow the Code of Conduct. * Sit back, relax and benefit from the valuable experience of sharing with another consultant. DONT * Arrive before the consultant. Allow her to make the initial contact with the hostess. Preferably you should arrive with the consultant. * Attempt to set up the demo table or the ordering room for the consultant. * Interject your own comments into the demo. * Add your opinion to customer questions. * Ask questions of the consultant during the demo. * Leave and reenter the room during the demo. This will encourage other guests to do the same, which will distract from the demo. * Assist with passing out items unless requested by the consultant. |
Trading EtiquetteThough it is against corporate policy to purchase products from other consultants, trading is allowed and encouraged to fill backorders, achieve
product variety, etc. It is good sense to trade with consultants you know and trust. Always.... trade product of equal retail value. If you are the consultant in need of an item, it is YOUR responsibility to pick it up from the consultant if she lives locally. Do not ask her to drop it off for you. If the product is being mailed to you or your customer, ALWAYS reimburse the consultant who is helping you out for shipping costs. The exception to this rule would be if you are each in need of items that the other has. If shipping a product directly to another consultant’s customer (at her request), include her return address on the package. Do not include your business card and don’t forget to remove your personal label from all items being shipped to other consultants customers. Product packaging should be in good condition and should be the current version (unless discussed/agreed previously) Be sure to complete trades in a timely fashion. If it's not an in-person swap, be sure to communicate when the product you owe will be delivered. Trading is a wonderful tool – use it! Always fulfill trades promptly and earn a reputation as a great trader! |
