Our Super Star Spotlight of the month is Darcy Weidman. Here she shares with us some of her business insight and words of advice!
1) When did you start selling Pure Romance?
February 2012
2) What is your WHY?
Dylan, Lily, Jake and Jackson. Knowing The loves of my life and knowing I will never have to miss seeing them do the things they love. I can also be home with them to watch them grow. I can pay for our family vacations and sports with out getting into our bank account.
3) What level are you currently?
Consultant and moving on up
4) What is your favorite item to demo and why?
I like to demo everything, but one of my favorites is Mr. Dependable. He helps me with other parts of my demo and when I tell the Ladies " Just lick it stick it Drop it Rock it" they go crazy.
5) What is the #1 selling item at your parties?
I sell a lot of Just Like Me after they see how beneficial it is, they cant pass It up. Also Coochy and Hot hearts are a great seller.
6) Do you do anything extra special to spoil your hostesses?
My hostess is the reason I'm there so I pull out all the bells and whistles for them. They can easily spend more in food and drinks than they would make in free product. Remember that :) Treat them right and make them happy. They will tell there friends!
7) What do you contribute to your success as a Pure Romance consultant?
My PR Momma Amy Rieck! My Dad for always being the first one to call me after a party to see how I did and to give me words of encouragement when I was down. All the training and team meetings helped me more than I thought.
8) What is your favorite quote?
There are two ways of spreading light ...To be the candle, or the mirror that reflects it.~ Edith Wharton ( I love quotes but I think this one is one of my favorites)
9) Give some words of advice for new consultants coming into the company that you think would help them make their business a successful one.
Be the person you would want have a party with. You are a product of your business; the more you work on it the more you get in return. Learn your products! Your guests will thank you for it and you will be more confident. Read your Blueprint For Success whenever you get lost. Keep your head up and plant those seeds. Then watch your business grow.
10) Anything else you’d like to share with us?
When I started PR the plan was to just get away once a month from the kids and hubby and have some adult conversation but it turned into so much more. I found myself! I also found a group of ladies who knew nothing about me cheering me on. I wanted to get out there and make you proud. Some of you have became great friends. I look back and think, "Why didn't I sign up sooner?" I'm so glad I joined such a great team Thanks!
